Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity strives to both change the systems that lead to poverty housing and build communities where everyone can afford to live. To that end we work to educate policy makers and change public opinion about affordable housing.
State Legislators may know the good work that Habitat for Humanity affiliates accomplish across the state. However, many may not know how State funding supports our work. Join the first ever Habitat on the Hill – Minnesota and visit your Legislator at the State Capitol during this advocacy event. We will remind Legislators that success starts at home, update them on our work to build those homes and ask our Legislators to continue their support. Thursday, February 18, 2010 Register now!
